Working method
Thanks to our broad expertise, Amerplastics offers the possibility to engineer complete plastic piping systems in-house. Based on layout drawings, the pipes are drawn out in detail by our draftsmen and/or work planners before being prefabricated by our plastic specialists in the workshop. Amerplastics pipe fitters and installation engineers have been fitting new pipes on site for more than 50 years. For more complex, turnkey projects, we have our own project management that guarantees monitoring of execution in accordance with applicable specifications, work safety, and respect for the execution schedule and agreements with the client.

Engineering
Engineering
Amerplastics has the experience, knowledge, and contacts to design, calculate, and possibly visualise any plastic piping system in detail. We and our partners use modern and up-to-date software to perform e.g. flow calculations (Fluidflow), surge and water hammer calculations, stress analyses for above-ground and underground piping systems with Caesar II and ground load calculations according to AWWA.

Pre-fabricage
Pre-fabricage
To optimise your plastic pipe projects, we can supply all individual components as plastic pipe pools based on approved drawings. This working method reduces the number of joints to be manufactured on site and significantly shortens the assembly lead time.
Our plastics workshop has specialised, certified professionals and up-to-date machinery for processing all types of materials.

Assembly
Assembly
The installation and processing of plastic pipes requires a careful approach. To this end, we have developed the following features to make the sale of plastic pipes successful for all parties involved:
- The local subcontractor installs Amerplastics’ products after training, with certification. Both continuous and non-continuous supervision can be provided. We always strive to stay involved with an installation to help ensure proper processing;
- The local subcontractor installs the pipe spools with Amerplastics acting as supplier of the manufactured pipe spools;
- Amerplastics acts as subcontractor for the entire project (delivery and installation). We have specialised and certified assembly teams. Our fitters, mechanics, overseers, and project engineers are VCA certified and have the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully commission your plastic pipes.

Project management
Project management
Amerplastics has an experienced team of project managers who can be deployed on medium- and large-scale projects. Where appropriate, Amerplastics usually acts as a turnkey contractor, responsible for, for example:
- The supply of plastic piping systems
- Primary and secondary steel structures
- Civil engineering
- The supply and installation of fittings
- Insulation
- Rigging activities
Usually, this is realised in close collaboration with the client, who expresses their preference for the possible subcontractor. Also, the great advantage for the end customer is that for medium-sized and large projects, there is one point of contact and therefore one contractually responsible partner.
